Continuing Education Requirements

  • Complete 12 hours of state approved courses every year,
  • These courses must include 4 hours of Mandatory courses utilizing one of the following topics:
    • Agency (Our Consensual Daul Agency course satisfies this mandatory requirement)
    • Fair Housing (Our ADA & Fair Housing course satisfies this mandatory requirement)
    • Environmental Issues
    • Ethics (Our Ethics in Real Estate course satisfies this mandatory requirement)
    • Risk Reduction
    • Montana Licensing Law & Rules
    • Landlord/Tenant Law
    • Private Property Rights
    • Legislative Changes
  • The other 8 hours are elective courses
  • Sales agents must renew their license by December 31 every odd year.
