Post License Education Requirements
Post-licensing course work may be completed at any time after the initial date of licensing and must be completed by December 31 of the first full calendar year of licensing. There is a four-hour mandatory course, Purchase and Listing Agreements and Addenda, for salespersons and a four-hour mandatory course, Handling Funds, for brokers which must be completed as part of their thirty-hour post-licensing requirement.

Continuing Education Requirements
The Louisiana Real Estate License Law requires each licensee to complete eight hours of approved course work. Four of the eight hours must be completed in a mandatory subject designated each year by the Commission.
