• Salesperson:
  • Complete 12 hours of state approved elective courses every 2 years
    • 9 hours of elective coursework
    • 3 hours of mandatory coursework - "Required Salesperson and Broker Core"
  • Pass a course final exam (grade of 90% required to pass),
  • Salespersons renew every 2 years on the last day of the month preceding their license expiration date (e.g., if license expiration date is 2/28, then education and renewal of license are due on 1/31).
• Broker:
  • Complete 12 hours of state approved elective courses every 2 years
    • 6 hours of elective coursework
    • 6 hours of mandatory coursework - "Required Salesperson and Broker Core" and "Required Broker Core"
  • Pass a course final exam (grade of 90% required to pass),
  • Brokers renew every 2 years on the last day of the month preceding their license expiration date (e.g., if license expiration date is 2/28, then education and renewal of license are due on 1/31).

Kansas Real Estate Post-License Education
