 New York Real Estate License Requirements
These are the state requirements to become a New York real estate agent.
- satisfactorily completed a 75 hour salesperson qualifying education course in real estate approved by the Secretary of State
- Important Note: The end of course exam must be taken at a location physically in the state of New York. Your school administrator will help you to coordinate an acceptable location.
- passed a qualifying examination administered by the Department
