Iowa Real Estate License Requirements

• Every candidate for a real estate salesperson must complete a course in the principles of real estate of not less than 60 hours of classroom or correspondence or other distance learning instruction.
• Iowa pre-licensing education courses require a final exam to be taken at the end of the course of education.
• After you pass your course, your school will issue you a completion certificate and and send you information on registering for your licensing exam with PSI, the licensing test administrator.
