Requirements: All real estate agents licensed within the past two years need to take 30 hours of post-license education for your first renewal within the first 2 years of issuance of your license by the Virginia Real Estate Board.
Example: You were licensed in December 2005. Then you must take the post license courses by December 31, 2007.

You must select one of 3 tracks - residential, commercial or property management.
1) Take the mandatory course package from one of the 3 tracks;
2) Take enough elective courses from any of the 3 tracks so that mandatory hours + elective hours equals a total of 30 hours, which will fulfill your Virginia post-license requirements.
Note: At signup, you will create your own user ID and password.

This includes all three tracks for post-license courses - residential track, commercial track and property management track. Courses are divided into sections. You must take the mandatory from one track and electives (from any of the tracks) totaling 30 hours. Most agents take the residential track. All courses noted here are online - no books needed. All are Virginia Real Estate Board approved.

Residential Track - Includes four (4) package courses, which consists of the mandatory residential (15 hours mandatory) plus three elective packages (15 hours elective). Total: 30 hours of VA approved post-license.
These courses are taken completely online, at your own pace, log in and log out with your own user name and password. You may start the course immediately after signing up. It is approved for the hours stated, but it does not matter how long it actually takes you to complete the courses. No books and no classroom time needed. Get all 30 hours by signing up for the 4 packages below.
