Continuing Education Requirements
North Carolina real estate agents must complete 8 hours of approved continuing education every year to renew a real estate license.
Of the 8 hours required for renewal, you must obtain credit in each of the following subjects:
- 4 hours of CE must include the mandatory update course provided by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission
- The other 4 hours are elective courses
- Per NC REC rules, all courses must be completed no later than 30 days after time of enrollment or by June 10th of each year, whichever comes first.
